Rafé Shearer grew up in Elizabethtown, PA. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from Albright College in Reading, PA and a Master of Education in Counseling Psychology from Temple University located in Philadelphia, PA. Rafé worked as an elementary school counselor for ten years before deciding to stay home to raise her two sons. Most recently, Rafé worked as a part-time case manager for Family Promise of the Harrisburg Capital Region, a community response to homelessness. She is extremely grateful for the support she receives from family and friends, especially her parents, Jack and Shirley Grove. Rafé lives in Mechanicsburg with Craig, her amazingly supportive husband of 23 years, and her two busy sons, Max and Sam.
