Ms. Brown is the Founding Director of The Tovah Center for Community Wellness, a peer-run advocacy, and peer support organization. She is also the Neighborhood Revitalization Coordinator for Tri-County Community Action. A natural collaborator, Ms. Brown is working to create a trauma-informed community network to alleviate poverty, crime, blight, and food insecurity, while promoting mental wellness among our most vulnerable populations.
With over 20 years of human services experience, Donnel has worked diligently to positively influence everyone with whom she has worked.
Driven by her passion to help vulnerable individuals and communities, Donnel is a Certified Peer and Recovery Specialist, with specialized training in Forensic Peer Support.
